Volunteers – Now is time to sign up for specific jobs and time slots.

We had a great turn out for our Orientation on Saturday and have filled a few spots but need to fill them all!
Below you will see the list of Jobs that we need MANY more volunteers for. We encourage everyone to sign up for a job and time slot with a friend so you can have fun together while still helping the festival out.
We have over 300 people who have shown interest in helping out, please bare with us as we fill time slots and get back with each of you and let you know what job and time slot we have confirmed for you. Please when replying back, give us a first, second and third choice for position and time slot. We will do our best to accommodate your first choice. You may send your choices to volunteers@lexpridefest.org
Also, we ask that you sign in at the Main GLSO / Volunteer tent 10-15 minutes before you are scheduled to volunteer. If you have any problems with your scheduled time slot, we ask that you contact us immediately so we can try to fill in with another volunteer. You are also able to sign up for a couple of shifts if you wish, but don’t sign up too much to where you can’t enjoy your festival also!

What’s the “must have” item of summer 2012?

Lexington’s Pride Festival t-shirt.
Mr. and Miss Lexington Pride, Clayton Burchell and Georgia Peach, launched t-shirt sales at Pulse Nightlife a week ago. They had such a good time that they decided to do more pre-sales at $10 per shirt. At the festival they will be $12, so you’ll want to attend one of the pre-sales. So, when are the pre-sales? One is Sunday morning June 24th at Natasha’s. Chelsea Pearl is hosting a drag brunch, and Georgia Peach will be on hand to sell t-shirts. Later that night there will be a second pre-sale at Crossings on Limestone. The committee would love to see a huge crowd at Crossings. They have been such a huge help toward the success of the Pride Festival, and we want to do everything we can to thank them. We hope to see you out buying a t-shirt, and be ever proud of who you
