Past Lexington Pride Festivals

2008 “We Are Family”
2009 “Stonewall Lives”
2010 “A Horse of Every Color”
2011 “Raising Pride”
2012 “Lexington Pride Festival 5″

The Lexington Pride Festival is held on the last Saturday in June each year. That date was chosen to honor Gay Pride Month, and to prevent any scheduling conflicts with surrounding pride festivals.

In 2009, the Dress Lexington Logo Contest was started to help raise awareness of the Lexington Pride Festival and to showcase local talent from graphic designers. The past two contests were won by Anthony Mejean.

The 2010 planning committee decided to hold smaller charity events throughout the year to help raise funds needed to hold the festival and to help raise awareness. Such events included: A Very Fairy Christmas, the Lots of Hearts and Body Parts Valentine Party, a Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction, and the Miss Pride of Lexington Pageant.
